7. On-Site Management
The company can refer to the existing on-site management
system in the host country which aims to assist
the OFWs and employers for effective relationship
and communication between workers and company. This
can be achieved by:
- Appointing a Filipino representative and counterpart
from the foreign country to monitor and assist
our OFWs;
- Scheduled visits to our workers at their job
sites to check the workers' conditions and talk
with representatives of the foreign companies
to propose and negotiate with them on ways and
means of achieving harmonious relationship between
companies and our OFWs.;
- Maintaining an open line communication with
workers and foreign companies by receiving calls,
evaluating and acting on the messages/requests,
and providing advice and counseling;
- Sending newspapers and magazines to our OFWs;
- Supplying articles and lessons on Filipino values
and culture to foreign companies, and vise versa.
